Two NHS doctors. One big heart. One community.

Two NHS doctors. One big heart. One community.

MamaDoc is a registered Community Interest Company meaning every pound we generate goes back into our community, not into shareholders' pockets. We exist to make sure that no Black, Brown or migrant mother navigating pregnancy and new parenthood in the UK feels alone, unseen or unsupported.

OUR MISSION

To walk alongside Black, Brown and migrant mothers through every stage of pregnancy, birth and early parenting with expert knowledge, real resources and a community that feels like home.

VISION

A world where your background, postcode or language never determines the quality of support you receive as a mother.

Our Core Values

EDUCATION

We believe knowledge is power. We give you the information you need to make confident, informed decisions about your pregnancy, your birth and your baby.

INCLUSIVITY

You belong here whatever your culture, background, immigration status or birth story.

RESPONSIVENESS

We listen. We adapt. We show up where and how you need us.

EQUITY

Free and low-cost support is not a compromise; it is the point. Because every mother deserves the best, not just those who can afford it.

Our Journey to Finding Confidence as Parents

MamaDoc was born out of our lived experiences as migrant parents and family doctors in the UK.

Like many immigrant parents, we faced unique struggles raising our child in a new healthcare system, far from the wisdom and support of our parents and with no extended family around for those much-needed breaks.

From navigating perinatal anxiety to latching problems, to tongue ties to postpartum complications, weight gain and more, we often felt alone in this. The sleepless nights, countless Google searches, and moments of doubt were overwhelming. We often asked ourselves, “Are we doing this right?” What support is out there?

But everything changed when we discovered how useful accessing the right resources and expert support can be in transforming the journey. We realised we didn’t have to figure it all out alone. With access to trusted parenting guidance and a supportive community, we gained the confidence we needed to raise our little one in a way that felt right for us.

This journey inspired MamaDoc a space where immigrant parents, like us, can find the support and resources they need to parent confidently. We’re here to walk this journey with you, offering a safe space to learn, grow, and thrive as parents.

Because at MamaDoc, we believe no parent should feel alone in their parenting journey.

That is why we built MamaDoc CIC. Not as a business. But as the resource we wish had existed when we needed it most.

And if you are reading this, this was built for you.
